About
The Butler Elementary School Community Council’s primary focus is to improve each child’s educational experience by providing programs to enrich the academic learning environment. Our goal is to help instill a love of learning in all of our children by making the learning fun and interesting; thereby laying the foundation for their entire education. The council is comprised of elected representatives from the community of concerned parents/gaurdians and the principal and staff of Bulter Elementary School.
The School Community Council works with the dedicated teaching staff to help provide the support and framework for improved academic achievement of the students. Through team decision making, the School Community Council is responsible for developing the school improvement plan considering both short term and long term goals. Other responsibilities of the School Community Council include collaborating on the development of the school land trust program, creating and implementing the professional development plan along with other programs that benefit the children of the school and the local community.
